oh jeezzz what a first two weeks its been. im pretty exhausted....it feels pretty irrelevant to write about what i did last weekend considerin its old news now but oh well....
sooo last friday i bought a pair of shoes! excitin i know right.....their mad fresh too....that picture doesn't serve them justice. i love them. like i usually am not one to buy a pair of chucks(aka..converses) but i saw em and it was yeppp gotta rock those...ohhhh and i ate at the cheesecake factory...very good very good.
and then saturday evening my youth group from church served dinner at the men's winter shelter. i was a little apprehensive and quite nervous at first..but once i got there it was all good. and im glad i went. this is an overnight shelter so i had the responsibility of checkin the men in and getting them taken care of when they first came in. besides drunk..they were pretty cool dudes. i found out most of them have jobs and such..they just don't have a home. it kind of made me realize not to take what i have for granted. an overall good experience...it feels good doin community service. i suggest anybody whos able to, get involved in someway...you'll benefit from it..trust me.
there was an unexpected snow day thissss week!!! besides the fact that now its goin to take a day away from spring break it was a nice little suprise. i just chilled all day watched a couple movies and kicked back. i was gonna go play some good ol' snow football but by the time i was gonna go the snow was all gone. =( hahaha
ok lets fast forward a few days to this weekend. what am i doing? good question
hmm theres a basketball game tonight i might go to that, i'll call some friends in a bit and get my plans together. it feels so good to be the weekend. thats pretty much what i live for now. tomorrow i have to give this oral presentation as part of this scholarship im tryin to win. wish me luck! i'll beast it, i know.
im quite hyper at the moment...gonna go grab some grub and get close with my ipod..=DDDDD.
heard this quote the other day...its preetty much how i'm going to live my life from now on..."today happened like it did, so tomorrow can happen like it should"...ive been so focused lately that things have been pretty stressful. sometimes you just gotta stop for a few and take a breather ya know?
